Last week when I was at the Natural Products Expo East, I was happy to learn that Putney Pasta’s Chicken Alfredo Skillet took top honors in the new product category for the newly created “New England’s Best” category (a tribute to Expo moving from Baltimore to Boston this year). In an earlier post, I wrote about the process of creating the skillet meal line -- it's great to see the early success.
I was also surprised recently to be named part of the "40 Under 40" top leaders in the natural products industry by Natural Foods Merchandiser. No clue how that happened. Maybe someone embellished my story....it was an honor to be recognized among peers from the industry.
On the negative side, I also changed my profile picture today for the blog -- I'm looking a lot older than I did in my previous picture (from my Bain & Co. security card taken on 9/10/01 -- amazing what seven years and three kids will do to you.)
